Carlo Medina finished an internal medicine residency program after medical school, and has received specialized training in sports medicine.

He has experience taking care of athletes of all levels, from the weekend warriors and amateurs to competitors from elementary school all the way up to Olympic athletes. He works with both individual sports pros and professional sports teams. His emphasis is on function — both on and off the field.

Our Approach to Sports Medicine

Dr. Medina also realizes that rigorous analysis of biomechanical and ergonomic issues are critical to the successful management of any chronic or ongoing condition.

Besides working with musculoskeletal injuries, Dr. Medina has experience managing various medical conditions in so far as they relate to sports and heart diseases, gastrointestinal complaints, osteoporosis, anemia, neurologic conditions, and performance enhancement.

Moreover, he is well versed in avoiding banned substances by the USOC and NCAA, as well as the management of effects from concussion events.

He really goes above and beyond for each patient’s individualized needs in the most thorough, proactive, understanding and thoughtful way.
